Ganga, Krishna, Narmada, Kaveri – many of our great rivers are depleting fast !! If we do not act now, the legacy we hand over to the next generation will be one of conflict and deprivation !! These rivers nurtured and nourished us for thousands of years !! It is time we nurture and nourish them back to health !!
The simplest solution to rejuvenate India’s rivers is to maintain a minimum of one kilometer tree cover on riversides !! Forest trees can be planted on government land and tree-based agriculture can be brought in on farm land. This will ensure our rivers are fed throughout the year by the moist soil !! This will also reduce floods, drought and soil loss, and increase farmers’ incomes !!
"Rally for Rivers" is a nationwide awareness campaign addressing the depleting conditions of our India's rivers !!
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev of
Isha Foundation will
himself drive from Kanyakumari to Himalayas, covering 16 states, 23 events, and 7000 km, to create the awareness to save our rivers !!

The Daly College, Indore, where Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev would be driving down to, as part of his 7000 km awareness journey !! The event would be attended by the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister
Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and thousands of supporters like you !! The event will have cultural performances, songs, orchestra, and more, besides the talk by Sadhguru !! The famous musical bands - Maati Baani and Rajasthan Roots - along with Sounds of Isha and individual artists would be performing at this event !!
The event would be hosted by the
The Daly College, Indore, in a fully water-proof dome/tent, and would have seating capacity for 5,000+ people !!
