Jaivik Setu, Indore's 1st authentic Farmers' Market & also organic produce shop, where the farmers sell their products ONLY ON SUNDAYS, but on the long weekend during India's 69th Independence Day, the Jaivik Setu Farmers' Market would be open on Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM !! In the current season of rains in the Monsoon, Jaivik Setu has ensured the convenience for buyers and sellers by putting up a large tent, and also moving some of the stalls/booths inside the permanent shop and other covered places !!
Besides the farmers' produce of fresh organic vegetables and fruits, the Jaivik Setu Farmers' Market also has great organic vegetarian food sold by housewives and others !! The delicacies to be made available on the Independence Day weekend include Sprout Kachori Chaat, Ragda Patties, Baked Spinach & Ragi Nachos, Bhutte kaa Kees, Malpua, Idli-Sambhar, Ragi Muthia, Grilled Sandwich, Pohaa, and Kulhad Chai on Saturday and Vadaa-Sambhar, Uttapam, Herbed Yogurt, Kachori, Bhutte ke Pakode/Bhajiya, Dosa, Pesarattu, Corn Cake Wrap, Pohaa, and Kulhad Chai on Sunday !!
The Jaivik Setu store selling dry organic produce such as cereals, poha, pulses, spices, tea, honey, jaggery, etc. and other eco-friendly products such as soaps, candles, floor cleaning liquids, LED lamps, electric mosquito trappers, etc. and even books on organic farming & related topics, would continue to remain open on all days from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM !!
